Pinky Glover is a gorgeous 45-year-old mother to a 17-year-old son. Glover embodies a unique blend of professional expertise and creative passion.

An attorney by qualification, she is a fashion entrepreneur by calling and the founder of HoneyChildStyle, which is a trans-seasonal loungewear brand rooted in comfort, quality and quiet confidence. She is also a philanthropist, a yogi and a woman deeply committed to living authentically with intention.

Glover’s journey began with a law degree from the University of Eswatini, where she practiced as an attorney for a brief time. Yet her heart, she admits, always belonged to the world of fashion. Her fondest childhood memories are of her grandmother’s sewing room. Her grandmother was a seamstress and Glover was her constant shadow, sketching and creating little outfits for her dolls. It was there, amid the whirring of the sewing machine and the rustle of fabric, that her love for fashion was born.

For the entrepreneur, Women’s month is a significant moment to pause and acknowledge the incredible role women play in their families, communities and country. “It is a time for celebrating the women who have shaped us into what we are today, supported them and made space for them,” she said. Glover also trusts that empowerment does not always come from grand gestures but can be found in the simple act of uplifting one another with kind words, sharing opportunities or simply saying: “I see you,” She firmly believes that women become stronger when they celebrate one another.

She was fortunate to be raised by women who lived these qualities with grace. Her grandmother, in particular, taught her the power of humility, softness and joy, lessons she carries with her to this day. In her own life, she has chosen to lead with love, to be soft without being small. She has let go of the need to be loud to be heard, embracing her feminine energy and trusting that her authenticity, calm strength and joy are more than enough.

Starting HoneyChildStyle was a significant challenge. ‘‘I lacked the capital that I needed to build the brand of my dreams and finding local manufacturers who could bring my vision to life proved difficult, however, through all these struggles, I learnt a valuable lesson, that when one door closes, you find a window,” she said. Glover remained resilient, adapted where necessary and stayed committed to her long-term vision. Each obstacle has since taught her resourcefulness and deepened her purpose.

One of Glover’s greatest strengths is her ability to remain grounded and resilient. She is solution-oriented and does not give up easily. A true visionary, she sees the potential in people, ideas and possibilities. She acknowledges that her weakness is sometimes taking on too much. She pours so much into her work and the people she cares about that she forgets to pause, but she is learning to find balance and ask for help when she needs it.

According to Glover, the ‘She is the Honey’ t-shirt is more than just an item of clothing, but it is a declaration of identity that celebrates the richness of being a woman. “Our range proclaims that a woman can be sweet, soft and kind while also being strong, bold and powerful. I wanted a design that would speak to the women we admire and the women we are. When someone wears it, I want them to feel seen, valued and empowered,” she said. She also wants the men who wear it to use it as a way to honour the women in their lives, their mothers, daughters, partners and sisters.

The Brave Girl Initiative, a powerful women-led movement, works with girls from underserved communities across Eswatini. Through mentorship, life skills and love, they are shaping future leaders, a mission that deeply resonates with the HoneyChildStyle brand. The brand is not just about fashion, it is about purpose and creating platforms that empower women and girls to dream bigger. This is why HoneyChildStyle has partnered with the Brave Girl Initiative as its Women’s Month campaign beneficiary. “For every ‘She is the Honey’ t-shirt sold, E30 is donated to support their mission. When you wear the t-shirt, you are not just celebrating yourself or someone you love, you are also helping a young girl build her future,” said the fashion enthusiast passionately.

She believes fashion is a language that allows us to tell the world who we are without saying a word. The way we dress affects how we feel and how we move through the world. At HoneyChildStyle, they create clothing that reminds women of their worth, their power and their beauty, pieces that feel like a second skin but also speak to who you are becoming.

This Women’s Month, Glover wants to celebrate the everyday magic of women: the ones holding families together, chasing dreams, healing generations and doing it all with quiet grace. By wearing the ‘She is the Honey’ t-shirt, you can join the campaign and celebrate the woman you are or the one who inspires you.
