MANZINI – Australia-based Eswatini swimming sensation Siwakhile Dlamini is making waves on the global stage.
The talented athlete has earned international acclaim after being elected as a member to the prestigious World Aquatics Athletes’ Committee. Dlamini was reportedly elected during the recently-concluded 2025 World Aquatics Championships held in Singapore to represent Swimming Africa.
This significant achievement was communicated through a letter written to her electronic mail (email).
“On behalf of World Aquatics, it is our pleasure to warmly congratulate you on your election to the World Aquatics Athletes’ Committee.
“This is a significant achievement, and we are confident that your leadership and dedication will make a valuable contribution to the future of aquatic sports.
“Please note that this announcement will be shared on our social media platforms in the coming days,” read part of the letter.
Eswatini Swimming Association (ESA), through their Secretary General (SG), Nozipho Mahlalela expressed delight at the reports.
