MBABANE – MulaSport has provided a significant financial boost to selected ball games at the Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF), announcing a sponsorship of E200 000.
This contribution was unveiled yesterday during a press conference held at the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) premises in Mbabane. Each of the four beneficiaries have been allocated E50 000.
Sibusiso Mnisi, Acting CEO of EIPA, commenced the address by expressing his profound pride in launching the second edition of the sponsorship. He lauded Mulasport not merely as a betting company, but as a committed partner in the development of sport and culture within the kingdom. Mnisi highlighted that the sponsorship would support volleyball, netball, basketball and a cultural dance competition. He further emphasised that these are more than just games; they are crucial platforms for talent, unity and economic stimulation.
Phetsile Xuba of MulaSport Eswatini then reinforced the company’s philosophy, declaring that sport and culture have always been at the core of their identity. She added that the company’s partnership with the EITF since 2023 has been a source of immense pride. Xuba shared that they were deeply inspired by the passion of the athletes, which has driven their continued assistance in developing these talents. “What excites us the most is seeing how the teams have grown since 2023, and we hope this year’s turnout will be even bigger,” she remarked.
Both speakers articulated a shared vision for the future, noting that the trade fair acts as a hub where business and social impact converge.
