MBABANE – Five local artists are set to represent Eswatini at the Phakama Mpumalanga Festival 2025 this November.
The festival is one of South Africa’s biggest lifestyle and music celebrations, and is returning for its third edition.
Scheduled for November 1 and 2 2025 at 116 Montana Gardens, Ngwenya Estate, White River in Mpumalanga, the festival will feature a vibrant mix of music, fashion, art, and culture — and for the first time, a camping experience under the Mpumalanga skies.
The Eswatini acts confirmed for the festival include DJ Cybos, DJ Tibza, Sbu De Drum DJ, DJ Zulu D, and Young Zesh. In an interview with Young Zesh he promised best of his performance during the event, “I am really excited to share my music with new audience in Mpumalanga, the crowd must expect high energy performance” he said.
They will perform alongside a star-studded South African line-up that features Morda, scar Mbo, Lwah Ndlunkulu, Mbuso Khoza, Fistaz Mixwell, Phumla Music, Jabulile Majola, Shakes & Les, Mpo Les, DJ Benny from Mozambique and many others.
The Festival dubbed ‘The Coachella of Mpumalanga’ is a platform that celebrates African creativity, heritage, and cultural tourism through music, fine art, sculpting and an entrepreneurial marketplace.
