MBABANE – South African Maskandi star, Khuzani Mpungose tied the knot with his longtime partner in a lavish white wedding ceremony this past weekend.

The 35-year-old musician from Nkandla married Nondumiso Mathenjwa during a white wedding in KwaZulu-Natal.

The musician managed to keep all wedding preparations under wraps before the big reveal. The musician had a pre-wedding ceremony (umkhehlo) with Nondumiso at her home in Ngwavuma at Manyiseni village on Sunday, December 7.

Sources close to Khuzani told Daily Sun that the star wanted to surprise the public by revealing his wife during their wedding. In a Newzroom Afrika  interview on YouTube, Mpungose revealed that his wife was from next to Eswatini. There are some traditions that we follow in my culture, but umakoti’s culture also has different traditions that they follow since she is from next to Eswatini and they follow the siSwati culture in everything they do,” he said.

In the interview, Khuzani continues to mention that he has not kept his wife private but it was her own decision to shy away from the spotlight. “Yes, I am a popular musician but my personal life is not content for fans. She is also not on social media, not because I do not allow it, but it was her own decision not to be on the platforms,” he said.
