MBABANE – Miss South Africa 2025, first runner-up Luyanda Zuma, posted on her social media pages that she is fascinated by Eswatini’s culture.

The beauty Queen took to her Instagram pages to show some beautiful images she captured surrounded by Eswatini traditional grass huts. “Arrived amid the breathtaking landscapes of Eswatini for the royal festivities. I have the greatest honour of being hosted by Her Royal Highness Queen LaNgangaza and Her Royal Highness Princess Temaswati. The hospitality has been phenomenal,” reads her Instagram caption.

The 23-year-old from Pietermaritzburg is no stranger in the industry, as she is a former SMag cover star and secured a thrilling role in the South African series, Shaka iLembe, as Liyana.

The ‘Shaka iLembe’ actress found her time back home in KwaZulu-Natal to be quite eventful. Her character, Liyana, who is King Shaka’s love interest in the historical, award-winning drama series, was the subject of many inside jokes during her visit.

Zuma also mentioned how she cannot wait to be part of the whole Incwala experience and learn more about the country’s culture. “My time in Eswatini has been absolutely phenomenal so far as I experience the beautiful Incwala Ceremony as a guest of His Majesty King Mswati III.

“I am learning so much about this beautiful country and the essence of Incwala through the interactions I have had with his wonderful family,” reads her post.
