When parents called, we answered

Mother Touch Learning Centre began in 2016 in the humblest way possible – as a small preschool with just two children. From the start, the focus was never on size; it was on quality: quality care, quality teaching and nurturing the whole child. The school’s move into primary education was not originally part of an immediate expansion plan. It was largely driven by parents. As families watched the preschool grow, they saw consistent standards and a learning culture that worked. Soon, parents began asking a simple question: If this is how Mother Touch does preschool, why not expand into a primary school? That request became a turning point. The transition into a primary school was, in many ways, a response to a call from parents – a giant leap taken because families believed the same quality could and should continue beyond preschool years. 

Mother Touch opened the primary school and grew naturally, one grade at a time, as the first learners progressed. Today, that very first group of preschoolers has reached Grade VII, joined along the way by many other learners who became part of the Mother Touch story.  For the school, this milestone is deeply significant: Children who were nurtured from the beginning – truly ‘touched’ by care and attention – are now completing their primary education in the same environment that shaped their earliest learning.
