MBABANE – Eswatini’s golf sensation, Nobuhle Dlamini, is set to kick off her 2026 season at the SuperSport Ladies Challenge.

The tournament, a premier fixture on the Sunshine Ladies Tour, will take place from February 4-6, 2026, at the prestigious Humewood Golf Club. With a total prize fund of E1.3 million at stake, the event marks a high-stakes return to competitive action for the region’s top golfers.

Dlamini has spent recent weeks at home in Eswatini focusing on her philanthropic efforts through the Nobuhle Foundation. Her signature initiative, the Nobuhle Junior Golf Tournament at Mbabane Golf Club, enjoyed a successful December edition and has now been expanded into a monthly series for 2026. The move aims to provide aspiring young golfers with consistent, year-round opportunities to hone their skills.

Beyond the greens, Dlamini has been active in high-level discussions regarding the future of the sport. She recently met with the King’s Cup Golf Committee and the Minister for Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Jane Simelane, to strategise on growing golf locally, empowering women in sport and leveraging golf to boost national tourism.

On the course, Dlamini joins a formidable field that includes elite players such as Casandra Alexander, Lily May Humphreys, Lee-Anne Pace, Kiera Floyd and Nadia van der Westhuizen. Having secured her spot as one of the top 60 players from the 2025 Order of Merit, Dlamini enters the tournament with the momentum and confidence required to challenge for the leaderboard.
