One of the conveniences that the Swaziland Building Society (SBS) brings to its customers is the ability to deposit cash at an automated teller machine (ATM) 24/7, including Sundays and holidays. Cash deposit ATMs offer convenience to customers by lessening the need to access a branch as well as being able to perform banking transactions even when branches are closed.
Our ATMs enable customers to perform financial transactions, such as cash withdrawals (both card and cardless), cash deposits, funds transfers, mini-statement and balance enquiries, at any time and without the need for direct interaction with bank staff.
Customers insert their ATM cards into the ATM card slot, with authentication being facilitated by the customer entering a secret personal identification number (PIN).
For SBS customers, making a cash deposit at an ATM offers several key benefits, including:
Convenience, accessibility:
ATMs provide customers with the ability to deposit cash outside of normal banking hours and without having to visit a branch. This is particularly useful for those who work late or have busy schedules.
Cost-effectiveness:
In line with Central Bank of Eswatini (CBE) Guideline on Banking Practice, cash deposits made at SBS ATMs are free of charge.
Time-saving:
Depositing cash at an ATM can be a quicker process than waiting in a queue at a bank branch.
Security:
Using an ATM for deposits can be a safer way to handle cash than carrying it around for extended periods.
SBS Manager Digital Channels, Sandile Langa explained how you can maximise your time and skip the bank queue by depositing cash at any SBS Cash Deposit ATM near you. SBS customers can also withdraw money safely from their SBS ePocket Account at any of the SBS ATMs.
There are 26 cash deposit ATMs distributed countrywide. Branches are located in Mbabane at Asakhe, Swazi Plaza, Manzini, Ezulwini, Matsapha, Nhlangano, Siteki, Pigg’s Peak, Buhleni and Matata at Big Bend. Additionally, we have a micro branch at Ngwane Park, which is meant to cater for the local KaShali community plus a digital branch at the Matsapha Lifestyle Centre.
“When making a deposit, simply arrange and place cash on the cash deposit slot, and the ATM does the rest.” Langa added.
