The Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS), through Rexy’s Investment, has announced a public auction of motor vehicles and assorted goods, scheduled to take place tomorrow at its Matsapha warehouse.
The auction, conducted in terms of Sections 42 and 90(2) of the Customs and Excise Act No. 21 of 1971, will be starting at 10am sharp.
Members of the public are invited to participate.
Vehicles on offer
A variety of used motor vehicles will go under the hammer, ranging from compact cars to luxury models. These include Toyota, BMW, Mazda, Nissan, Suzuki, Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Fiat models manufactured between 2001 and 2011. Among the listings are hatchbacks, sedans, multi-purpose vehicles and a BMW 730 Li.
Other auction items
In addition to vehicles, the auction will feature a wide assortment of non-motor items. These include new and used clothing, shoes, bags, hair extensions, household items such as sheets and toilet seat cushions, as well as electronics including a 55-inch television and media players. Industrial and hardware items such as UPS units, battery racks, steel garden racks, glass bricks, cylinder head gaskets, tools and gym weights will also be available.
Viewing and registration
Prospective bidders were given the opportunity to inspect the items from Tuesday, February 23 and Wednesday, February 25, 2026, between 10:30am and 3:30pm, at the ERS warehouse.
Registration will be done on the day of the auction at the venue.
A refundable deposit of E5 000 is required for bidders interested in vehicles, while a deposit of E2 000 applies to bidders for other items.
The auction will take place at the ERS Warehouse, located next to Ruchi Wholesalers, below the Matsapha Prison gate, within the Matsapha Industrial Site.
