Even after his passing, the voice of the late Pastor Zakhele Israel Malaza continues to inspire, challenge and lead through the release of his posthumous manuscript, The Leadership Bone.

The book, which will be officially launched on June 12 at Mavuso Trade Centre Hall 2 in Manzini starting at 6pm, is being described as a powerful guide to effective and purposeful leadership.

The launch is expected to attract church leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, young people and members of the public eager to learn from the legacy left behind by one of Eswatini’s respected leadership voices.

For many who knew Pastor Malaza, the book represents more than a publication. It is the continuation of a mission he dedicated his life to;  raising leaders who are guided by integrity, vision and service.

In a society where leadership is often associated with titles and positions, ‘The Leadership Bone argues that genuine leadership begins within. The book explores the qualities that distinguish effective leaders, including character, discipline, accountability and the ability to positively influence others. Those familiar with Pastor Malaza’s ministry say the manuscript reflects the same practical wisdom and biblical foundation that made his teachings relatable to people from all walks of life.

Whether addressing church congregations, business leaders or community groups, he consistently emphasised that leadership is not reserved for a select few but is a responsibility carried by anyone with the ability to influence others.

The release of the book comes at a time when many organisations, churches and communities are grappling with questions of ethical leadership and succession. Its message is therefore likely to resonate with readers seeking guidance on how to lead with purpose while remaining grounded in values.

For the church, the publication serves as a reminder that a person’s ministry does not necessarily end with death. Through written words, teachings and the lives they touch, spiritual leaders can continue to shape generations long after they are gone.

The launch event will include a gala dinner and a special guest appearance by renowned gospel minister Bishop Benjamin Dube. Attendees will receive copies of the book and have an opportunity to celebrate the life and contribution of a man whose influence extended beyond the pulpit. As family, friends and bazalwane prepare to gather for the occasion, one thing remains clear: Pastor Zakhele Israel Malaza’s final message is not about personal achievement, but about empowering others to lead. Through ‘The Leadership Bone’, his challenge to future generations is simple yet profound, leadership is not about being in front; it is about making a difference wherever God has placed you. In that sense, the late pastor’s work continues, offering lessons that remain as relevant today as they were during his lifetime.
