Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for this post available at a Commercial Dealership in Matsapha.
1 x Senior Auto Electrician
Responsibilities
    • The Senior Auto Electrician is expected to diagnose and repair complex electronic systems while ensuring maximum vehicle uptime for customers.
    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electronic faults, reading schematic wiring diagrams on commercial vehicles
    • Perform advanced diagnostics using scanning tool (e.g. XENTRY Diagnosis) and interpret diagnostic reports to identify root causes of faults.
    • Carry out software updates, programming, coding, and calibration of vehicle electronic control units in accordance with OEM specifications.
    • Ensure all repairs are completed in accordance with OEM manuals, technical bulletins, warranty procedures, and dealership quality standards.
    • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Auto Electricians, Technicians, and Apprentices, ensuring adherence to OEM repair standards.
    • Liaise with OEM Technical Support on advanced diagnostic cases and implement recommended repair solutions.
    • Respond to roadside assistance, field service electrical breakdowns
    • Ensure efficient turnaround times while maintaining high-quality workmanship and maximising customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements
    • Maintenance Qualified preferably (MBSA)
    • Minimum 6 years experience in a Dealership
    • Experience on Commercial Vehicles
    • Code 14 drivers licence
