MBABANE – South African DJ, Oscar Mbo has been revealed as the third act to join the fourth edition of Eswatini Farmers Market (EFM).
Real name Mbongeni Ndlovu is a South African record producer, podcaster and DJ. He creates house music containing elements of deep house, deep tech, Nu Jazz, broken beat and Lounge music.
In September 2019 he released his debut EP, Life and Love and later in November launched his debut album, Golden Power. Oscar Mbo is also a member of the trio group Golden Boys Entertainment. He has also been featured on Kaya FM’s Platinum Friday with T-Bose, Metro FM, Trans Africa Radio and on the Vuzu music television show, Hit Refresh. He has received an endorsement from Diesel.
Eswatini Farmers Market and Melting C event’s founder, Culolami Dlamini said that adding more international acts in their line-up only reaffirms their commitment to ensuring their patrons have a time of their lives with the diverse genres. “Oscar Mbo is a beast behind the decks, whenever he is on the line-up just know that the event will be a hit, Oscar has been consistently delivering for audiences and I believe that we also need that kind of fire for EFM audience, “said Dlamini.
EFM is one local event that has consistently provided a perfect platform for emerging artists to gain exposure and connect with new audiences. The show is a celebration of homegrown talent and the organisers make a conscious effort to promote and support local musicians.
