Local businesses have an opportunity to position themselves for new business opportunities by registering on the Industrial Development Company of Eswatini (IDCE) official supplier database before applications close on Friday, August 21, 2026.

IDCE is inviting competent and reputable local companies to apply for inclusion on its supplier database, creating an opportunity for businesses to make their services known to an institution that requires a broad range of goods and professional services.

With 35 service categories available, the registration drive is designed to give businesses from different industries an opportunity to become part of IDCE’s pool of potential suppliers. For businesses operating in these sectors, being registered on a supplier database can be an important step towards increasing visibility and positioning the company for potential procurement opportunities.

An opportunity business should not overlook

For local enterprises, particularly those looking to grow their client base and access opportunities with established organisations, supplier registration provides a structured way of presenting their capabilities.

The application process also gives businesses an opportunity to ensure that their company information and credentials are properly documented and available for consideration when relevant procurement needs arise. However, businesses need to act quickly.

Applicants are required to select a maximum of two service categories, with only one service allowed per category. A detailed company profile must also be uploaded as part of the application.

The application fee is E500, which is non-refundable and payable via EFT. Applications must be submitted online, with emailed submissions not accepted. Businesses should therefore allow sufficient time to prepare their documentation, complete the online application and ensure that all required information is submitted before the deadline.

Deadline fast approaching

Importantly, IDCE states that no applications will be accepted after the closing date, while the supplier database will then remain closed to new entries for one year.

This makes the current registration window particularly important for businesses that want to be considered for inclusion rather than waiting another year for the next opportunity.

Interested companies can access the application information and submit their applications online through www.bit.ly/IDCETenders. Further information is also available through the IDCE website at www.idce.co.sz.

With the deadline only days away, businesses that meet the requirements are encouraged to get their documents in order and apply before the window closes.

For companies serious about expanding their opportunities and putting their capabilities in front of a major development institution, this is an opportunity worth acting on now, not next year. You can also send a WhatsApp message to 7622 9989.
