MBABANE – Award-winning dancer Ndoniyamanzi Luhlanga has been accepted to the National School of the Arts (NSA) in Johannesburg.

NSA has for over 50 years been serving the advancement of artistically gifted learners from across South Africa. The NSA is recognised as a pioneer in the field of specialised education. The curriculum ensures that learners can excel artistically and academically, which is reflected in the consistently good academic results and the achievements of the NSA alumni.

During an interview with Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy Director Velile Dube, she said this is a big achievement for the academy. “Our partnership with NSA since 2017 has not been in vain. We have been trying to push the narrative that dance is not just a hobby, it’s a skill that people earn a living with. In some parts of the world, it is taken as a serious career. Seeing Ndoni take a chance and auditioning at NSA means she really sees this opening the doors for her. As we speak, the NSA has produced the best artists in the world who are all over the world, doing what they love and what they are passionate about,” Dube said.

She further highlighted that this achievement aligns with the mission and goals of the academy. “This is evidence to the fact that since we started at Talent ‘n’ Motion Academy, we have always said we want to produce internationally-acclaimed dancers.
