MBABANE – Seven of the country’s top volleyball teams have confirmed their entry into the Red Skins Open Tournament.

The international competition is set to take place at the Lehakoe, Maseru, in Lesotho.

Among the sides making the trip are Correctional Sunrise (both men’s and women’s teams), Scorpions Ladies, Ace Angels, Zakhele Ladies, Eco Water Males and Bob Cats Males.

The tournament is offering a prize pot that is sure to get pulses racing. The winners will bag a E10 000 cash prize, along with gold medals and a trophy.

The runners-up will collect E5 000 and silver medals, while the third-place team will earn E3 000 and bronze medals. On top of that, the Most Valuable Player will be rewarded with a cool E2 500.

Registration for the tournament is still open, with the hosts, Red Skins, extending the deadline to this Saturday, September 20.

The entry fee has been revised to E1 500, up from the original E1 200. The tournament itself is scheduled to run from September 26 to 28, 2025.

Nobuhle Dlamini, the Secretary for the Zakhele Ladies and former Eswatini National Volleyball Association (ENVA) Secretary General, confirmed her team’s participation and their ambitions for the tournament.
