MBABANE – The journey for Miss Cultural Heritage 2025/2026 officially commenced as the Top 12 finalists were unveiled in a grand ceremony at the Mountain View International Hotel.

The unveiling was led by Stanley Dlamini the Chief Executive Officer of the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture who presented the eleven young women who will now compete for the coveted crown.

The missing one young woman Thubelihle Mnisi was reported to have been at school writing final examinations, hence her absence in the unveiling. These finalists embody the nation’s rich traditions and will serve as cultural ambassadors, showcasing Eswatini’s diverse heritage. These finalists come from the four different regions of Eswatini.

During the event, the CEO announced that Old Mutual has sponsored E40 000 and Eclipse Restaurant has sponsored E60 000 towards Miss Cultural Heritage. “Eclipse Restaurant pumped in E60 000; they said the crowned queen will receive E5 000 monthly with E3 000 allowance and E2 000 for charity work” he said.

Also launched during the ceremony was the Lassies Craft Store located in Gwamile Street, opposite Eswatini Bank a shop that sells traditional attire such as emagcebesha and emahiya and handcrafted beadwork.
