MBABANE – The Espinho Restaurant and Bar has officially confirmed a blockbuster line-up for its upcoming Espinho Shutdown.

The line-up includes South African vocal powerhouse Kelly Khumalo, the BET Award-winning Sha Sha and maestro Marvellous DJ. The event is expected to draw thousands of revellers from across the kingdom.

The confirmation of Kelly Khumalo is particularly significant. Known for her ‘Voice of Africa’, Khumalo’s inclusion brings a level of soul and prestige to the event. Fans should anticipate a set-list of her greatest hits delivered with the raw emotional intensity that has made her a household name. This includes hits such as ‘Ngathwala Ngaye’, ‘Empini’ and ‘Esiphambanweni’.

Complementing Khumalo’s soul is the BET Award-winning Sha Sha. As one of the most recognisable voices in the Amapiano genre, Sha Sha’s performance promises the melodic, dance-heavy rhythms that have dominated global charts.

She is expected to perform hits such as ‘Tender Love’, ‘iPiano’ and ‘Woza’. Keeping the energy at a peak will be Marvellous DJ, whose ability to read a crowd has made him a staple of the nightlife. All three artists are scheduled to deliver performances on stage.

The event is not just about the music. Organisers have promised a spectacular fireworks display to mark the climax of the night. The line-up is continuing to grow as organisers are releasing acts day by day. Local supporting acts for the event will also be revealed on the Espinho Restaurant and Bar Facebook page. The venue has recently gained traction for hosting stylish events like the ‘All-Black Affair’ and hosting South African artists including Mduduzi Ncube, Azana and DJ Tira in 2025.
