Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA will once again open its gates to aspiring students, learners, and institutions at the Eswatini Careers Fair, set to take place on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 1pm. Held under the banner of the Careers Support Initiative (CSI) and supported by Old Mutual, this annual event has grown into a vibrant hub of opportunity, mentorship, and career exploration.
Set on the scenic campus grounds of Waterford Kamhlaba, the fair promises to be a meaningful interaction point for hundreds of students from across Eswatini. Learners will get the chance to meet with representatives from universities, companies, and organisations offering insight into various industries and career paths, from engineering and entrepreneurship to public service, media, finance, and health sciences.
The goal of the Eswatini Careers Fair is to equip learners with critical information that can help shape their future academic and professional decisions. It offers more than just brochures and pamphlets it creates a space for genuine conversation, inspiration, and confidence-building. Whether learners are exploring university options, internships, scholarships, or alternative career tracks, the fair encourages them to ask questions, get clarity, and envision themselves in professional roles.
Thanks to partnerships with corporate sponsors like Old Mutual and Waterford’s own alumni network, the fair is accessible to students from all backgrounds. Teachers, school career guidance counsellors, and parents are also encouraged to attend and support learners in navigating their next steps.
Past editions have featured CV-writing workshops, motivational talks, and real-time application support initiatives that continue to strengthen the fair's impact year after year.
With Eswatini’s youth facing tough employment challenges and the rising demand for new skills in a global economy, career guidance events like this are more crucial than ever. The Waterford Kamhlaba Careers Fair serves as a reminder that preparation, exposure, and the right mentorship can change lives.
