The Mbuluzi-Mbabane Rotary Club is proud to announce the 20th edition of the Sibebe Survivor Challenge, scheduled for Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the breathtaking Sibebe Rock,  the world’s second-largest granite dome and one of Eswatini’s most cherished natural landmarks.

Over the past two decades, the Sibebe Survivor has become far more than just a hike – it is a symbol of unity, resilience, and compassion. With every step taken on the steep slopes of Sibebe, hikers have helped uplift lives and support some of the country’s most vulnerable communities through the Rotary’s humanitarian and development programmes.

This year’s milestone event is expected to draw thousands of enthusiastic participants – families, youth groups, companies, and civic organizations, all coming together to raise funds for life-changing causes, including education support for underprivileged learners, improved access to clean water, and community health initiatives across Eswatini.

“Sibebe Survivor is a unique opportunity for people from all walks of life to challenge themselves physically while giving back meaningfully to society,” says Club President Andrew Muwonge. “It is also an ideal platform for corporate organisations to demonstrate their commitment to corporate social responsibility, staff wellness, and nation-building.”

Registration is open, with exciting group packages available for corporate teams and community clubs. Participants will receive branded memorabilia, refreshments, and access to a lively post-hike celebration. The Mbuluzi-Mbabane Rotary Club is also encouraging sponsors and donors to come forward and support logistics, first aid, hydration stations, and awareness materials.

As the event marks its 20th anniversary, this edition of Sibebe Survivor promises to be the most memorable yet, a true celebration of Eswatini’s spirit of endurance and generosity.

Let’s Hike for a Cause!
