The bustling industrial town of Matsapha has received a major boost to its food scene following the official opening of a new Steers branch, bringing flame-grilled favourites, juicy burgers and mouth-watering meals.

The new outlet is expected to serve thousands of workers, residents and travellers in the area, reinforcing Matsapha’s status as the economic heartbeat of Eswatini.

Speaking at the opening, Steers Operations Manager Noma Shongwe said the decision to establish a branch in Matsapha was strategic.

“Matsapha is the industrial hub of the country, and we saw a great opportunity to bring quality food closer to the people who work and live here. We are committed to serving the best flame-grilled meals and pizzas in town,” she said.

Shongwe added that the outlet aims to offer more than just meals, promising customers a welcoming atmosphere, great music and exceptional service. “We are bringing great food and great vibes. Our team is dedicated to giving customers a memorable experience every time they visit,” she added

To improve convenience, the branch has introduced multiple service terminals and tellers, allowing customers to place orders without long queues. Patrons can also order through the Steers mobile application, website or by contacting the call centre.

“Customers can now order from the comfort of their homes or workplaces. They do not have to walk to the shop if they prefer delivery,” Shongwe explained. She further revealed that the company is already planning another expansion.

“We are working on opening another branch soon. It is already in the pipeline, although we cannot reveal the location at this stage. The new outlet is expected to create employment opportunities while enhancing access to quality fast food in the Matsapha area.’’
