Gate of Heaven Christian Assembly (GHCA) drew an extraordinary crowd last Friday night, as hundreds gathered at the Luyengo Community Hall for a powerful all night prayer themed ‘Night of Your Name’.
The service was led by Senior Seer Prophet Joshua Angel, who delivered a profound sermon drawn from Joshua chapter 6: 1 to 16 under the title ‘You Shall Be Given Access’.
Unpacking the Scripture, the prophet unpacked God’s divine instructions to Joshua as the Israelites prepared to conquer Jericho.
He reminded bazalwane that although God granted them access to blessings, He still required their effort by obeying Him and living according to his word. “Even when God gives you access, He still wants to see your effort,” he said, urging them to remain steadfast in obedience and faith.
He explained how the Israelites were instructed to march faithfully for six days and again seven times on the seventh day before God caused the walls to fall. The message by senior seer was that divine access is accompanied by a call to action.
The night was also filled with vibrant worship. Gospel artists Tanele Mnisi and Nelly Siwela ministered powerfully, adding to the spiritual atmosphere that kept the hall alive throughout the night.
Chief Lembelele Dlamini of Luyengo also attended the prayer and expressed deep appreciation to GHCA for bringing the prayer to Luyengo.
“Luyengo needed such prayer and divine encounters because the community needed it to break the devil’s evil plots and doings in this area. Now that we have prayed, I believe God has intervened,” he said, adding that he has personally been praying for the well-being of the community.
The prophet was visibly moved by the overwhelming turnout. “I would love to thank all emaSwati who are supporting my calling.
“The Luyengo community came in their numbers and indeed, it was a night we will never forget. I was not expecting such crowds because of the rain,” he said.
He further shared that two buses and six Quantums were sent from Nhlangano, which was very humbling, according to the church leader. He further clarified that he was not planning to open a branch in Luyengo, saying: “It was just a visit. We will visit that place every year.”
The All Night Prayer marked a memorable spiritual encounter for the Luyengo community and the wider GHCA family.
