As the festive season draws to a close, many families begin to feel the familiar pressure that comes with preparing for a new school year. Uniforms, stationery, school fees and daily essentials quickly add up, often leaving parents anxious before classes even begin.

It is against this backdrop that the ‘Siyavula’ Back-to-School campaign arrives, offering both practical relief and a timely reminder that looking beautiful preparation go hand in hand.

Running from December 23, 2025, to January 12, 2026, the campaign is designed to support families as they transition from the holidays into the school routine.

Siyavula, meaning we are opening, speaks directly to this moment of renewal and readiness. It is about opening doors to opportunity, confidence and well-being for learners as they head back to the classroom.

The campaign encourages customers to purchase any Lush or Be Beautiful product and enter for a chance to win.

By simply sending a picture of their receipt, participants stand to benefit from a range of rewards that make a real difference during the back to school period.

Weekly draws will see product hampers given away on December 24, December 31, January 7 and January 12, with winners announced each week across various media platforms.

Beyond the weekly excitement, the highlight of the campaign is the grand prize draw.

Four lucky winners will each receive E5 000 cash, with all grand prize winners announced on January 14.

In total, E20 000 will be awarded, easing the financial strain that so often overshadows the start of the academic year.

For many households, this support can help cover school fees, supplies or other essential needs that directly impact a child’s readiness to learn.

The campaign places subtle, but important emphasis on self-care and personal hygiene.

Products that promote cleanliness and confidence are essential for learners returning to shared environments such as classrooms and playgrounds.

Feeling clean, confident and cared for contributes positively to a child’s mental and emotional well-being, which in turn supports concentration, self esteem and overall performance at school.

The ‘Siyavula’ Back-to-School campaign also reminds parents and guardians that preparing for school is not only about books and uniforms, but it is about ensuring children are physically and emotionally ready to face a new term.

Members of the public are encouraged to look out for more information in the Times of Eswatini, on radio and across social media platforms, where weekly winners will be celebrated and campaign updates shared.

As the new year approaches and schools reopen, the Siyavula Back-to-School campaign stands as a  reminder that when communities come together, the journey back to class can be one filled with confidence, care and opportunity.
