When Senele Dlamini walks into a room, she carries more than just confidence, she radiates the kind of health-first energy that turns heads.

Her glow, her discipline and the way she talks about her fitness journey all scream maturity, but just how old is this powerhouse of positivity and squats?

Dlamini’s journey into fitness began recently; in late January during one of those introspective moments we all have. She realised she needed to keep herself active, not just for aesthetics, but for her long-term health.

“All thanks to my coach who made the journey easy for me by being there and helping me understand the gym and working out differently,” she said.

Despite being young, there is wisdom in how she approaches wellness. “I figured I needed to challenge myself and start a healthy lifestyle while I’m still young,” she said. “And that paid back because I’m loving gym now.”

Don’t let her soft-spoken confidence fool you, Dlamini means business. Her focus? Lower body gains and cardio health.

Think weighted squats, walking lunges, Romanian dead lifts (RDLs), reverse lunges, the works. “These exercises help build and tone my muscles so I look firm and younger,” she explained.

Her diet is clean and protein-rich, thanks again to the guidance of her coach, Mr5MoreRepsFitness. Her goal is muscle growth, recovery and consistency. “The consistency in dieting has been so much helpful and worth coming back to,” she added.

When asked about her health tips, Dlamini keeps it real. Her no-nonsense approach is refreshing:

“Stick to time and showing up, trust yourself enough to trust your coach can help and will help bring those goals to life.” Her mantra is clear: Self-investment is the ultimate self-love.

With all this wisdom, one might guess she’s well into her early 30s, someone who’s learnt through trial and triumph. However, here’s the twist: Dlamini is just 22 years old. Surprised? So were we.

It’s not just the workouts, it’s the mindset. She’s proof that discipline, faith and a well-planned squat can keep you glowing well beyond your years.
