MBABANE – The atmosphere at the FIFA World Cup Final watch party at Malandela’s was an entirely different vibe.
The gates opened at around 3pm and every ticket holder received a complimentary Sibebe or Flying Fish upon entrance. DJ Mbo opened the decks with fine jams to set the tone for the night, before DJ AyaCity picked up the momentum.
Fantacy then warmed up the stage for the South African acts, who kept the energy high until the game began.
Kenza praised the local crowd, noting that the kingdom feels like a second home.
“It is always great coming to Eswatini, I love how everyone here will always vibe with my set and show that they are feeling my mixes,” he said.
Mpho Wave shared the same sentiments, adding that the reception he receives is consistently spectacular. “I have done a couple of shows the past years, the crowd is always amazing, love how they are always feeling my sets,” he said.
Jnr SA, who made his second appearance in the country, was equally impressed by the crowd’s energy. He noted how much he loved how everyone interacted with him before he handed over the decks for the match to kick off.
