MBABANE – Is he set for a sensational return to the ‘Weslians’?

Reports suggest that former Manzini Wanderers goalkeeper Basil Mthethwa has been earmarked for a directorship role with the struggling MTN Premier League giants. The move comes at a critical time for the ‘Weslians’, who are reportedly looking to restructure their leadership in an effort to turn around their fortunes both on and off the pitch. A source close to the Gcina Dlamini-led side revealed that the club are in talks with Mthethwa, a club legend and son of the late Wanderers Director ‘Shushu’ regarding a formal directorship post. “It is now an open secret that Basil is being tipped to join the Board. He is already involved with the club, though not yet at that official level,” the source confirmed.
