Simunye unlocked: Food, festive fun

Now this my kind of festive indulgence: a massive, ‘totally justified’ burger! Go conquer this giant at Simunye Country Club.

With friendly staff and classic charm, Simunye Restaurant is in a league of its own. Expect a carefully curated buffet as well as a superb à la carte menu, packed with delicious selections to satisfy every craving.

But here is the catch, if you want to let loose and throw caution to the wind: Pop in their bar on Saturdays! They always feature live music; rumour has it Dr Spin Magic does his thing just right. (don’t quote me, I’ve only been told). Last call is just 5 minutes before midnight, so make sure you use every second before the bartender walks away.

And wait for it…. Karoake night just came in a bit earlier this month. It’s this Friday (December 19, 2025) instead of the usual last Friday. If you are ready to try your hand at singing, this is your moment; just don’t quit your day job yet – its karaoke. So grab the squad, do a dare challenge and see who sings best among you.

And if you are a family man or woman, Simunye still makes a great spot for family outing. With its playground, swimming pool and variety of ‘guilty free food indulgence’ in the menu, the little rascals will have a feast.

Lost in the mumbo-jumbo details? I don’t blame you! The only detail you really need is this: To experience these flavours and understand why they’re in a league of their own, secure your booking for a savoury Xmas Lunch, contact: +268 2313 4758 or email: scc_reception@res.co.sz
