At a time when the Church is called to be a voice of hope, healing and harmony, the Eswatini Conference of Churches (ECC) is inviting pastors and church leaders from across the country to come together for a timely and powerful pastors’ seminar focused on strengthening Christian unity.

This gathering promises to be a moment of reflection, learning and renewal for those entrusted with shepherding God’s people. The seminar will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2026, starting at 8am at The George Hotel in Manzini.

Entrance is free and refreshments will be provided, making it accessible to all pastors and church leaders who wish to attend.

However, prospective attendees are encouraged to register in advance via SMS or WhatsApp by January 23, 2026, to assist organisers with planning. Hosted by the Eswatini Conference of Churches, the seminar will be led by ECC President Bishop Robert Kasaro, who will serve as the host. The ECC, a body that brings together churches affiliated to its membership, continues to play a vital role in promoting righteousness, peace, justice and unity within the Christian community and the nation at large.

The theme of the seminar is ‘Pursuit of Christian Unity,’ drawn from Ephesians 4:1–3, which urges believers to live lives worthy of their calling, marked by humility, gentleness, patience and love and to ‘make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.’ This theme speaks directly to the challenges and responsibilities facing church leadership in today’s complex social and spiritual landscape.

The guest speaker for the seminar is Reverend Samuel Lee from Tacoma Central Presbyterian Church in Washington, USA.

Reverend Lee is a respected pastor and teacher with years of experience in ministry, leadership development and ecumenical engagement.

Known for his thoughtful and practical approach to Scripture, he brings a global perspective on the importance of unity within the Body of Christ, especially across denominations and cultures.

His ministry emphasises servant leadership, reconciliation and faith lived out in community. The seminar is designed to equip pastors with biblical insight, practical tools and renewed vision to foster unity within their congregations and among churches.

It also provides an opportunity for fellowship, dialogue and mutual encouragement among church leaders from different backgrounds. For more information, interested participants can contact 2505 5253, 7611 8205 or 7911 8205. As the Church continues its mission in Eswatini, this seminar offers a meaningful space to pause, reflect and recommit to walking together in unity, for the glory of God and the strengthening of His Church.
