MBABANE – Swazi boy Entertainment has announced that its two-day 20th anniversary celebration will be held at Happy Valley Hotel.

Founder, Mthunzi ‘Shadow’ Zwane said the venue was ideal for the milestone event and was chosen because of its central location and ability to accommodate the expected number of patrons from across the country. “Happy Valley is a good venue because it can comfortably accommodate the traffic and patrons coming from both Manzini and Mbabane. It is the perfect place for this kind of milestone celebration,” said Shadow.

The anniversary event, scheduled for September 25 and 26, will mark two decades of Swazi Boy’s contribution to the country’s entertainment industry through events, music promotion and talent development.

Shadow said the stable wanted to ensure supporters enjoyed the celebrations in a venue that was accessible and suitable for an event of this size.

He said preparations for the anniversary are progressing well, with more details on the artist line-up, ticket sales and the full programme to be announced in the coming weeks.

The event is expected to bring together artists, DJs, industry stakeholders and music lovers to celebrate the stable’s journey since its establishment.

Over the past 20 years, Swazi Boy Entertainment has become known for promoting House music through events such as House Musiq Fest and the Deep House Conversations series.

The company has also supported other genres, including Hip Hop, Gospel, Neo Soul, old skool music, Amapiano and Afro House.

Beyond hosting events, the company has contributed to the growth of the creative sector through workshops and initiatives aimed at developing local talent.

Shadow said the anniversary would not only celebrate the company’s longevity, but also recognise the artists, partners, sponsors and supporters who have contributed to its success over the past two decades.
