MBABANE – Standard Bank Eswatini has announced the appointment of former Coca-Cola Beverages Eswatini (ECCB) Country Manager, Sanele Khumalo, as its new Head of Brand and Marketing.

Khumalo, who officially left ECCB in August, will be taking over from Sibusile Sigwane, who has since joined FNB Eswatini. Her appointment marks a return to Standard Bank, where she previously served as Head of Marketing and Communication from July 2017 to November 2018.

In an official congratulatory post yesterday, the bank highlighted Khumalo’s extensive leadership and marketing experience as a key asset in strengthening Standard Bank’s brand positioning and deepening its connection with clients.

“Sanele brings a wealth of experience in brand building and leadership across multiple sectors. Her expertise will be pivotal in advancing our marketing strategy as we continue to drive growth and client engagement,” the bank said.

Khumalo has over a decade of experience in senior marketing and leadership roles across the beverage and banking industries. Prior to leading ECCB as country manager for seven years, she served as executive assistant to the country manager designate at Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa from December 2018 to August 2019.
