MBABANE – iF’s Lounge, Manzini, officially unveiled a massive line-up for the Babalwa M ‘Make Up Show’,  following her rescheduled appearance from the recent Spring Bash.

Billed as an electrifying night of ‘Private School Amapiano’ and local talent. The event is set for November 28, 2025. South African Amapiano sensation Babalwa M will finally take the stage, an appearance that fans have been eagerly awaiting since her unfortunate absence from the main Spring Bash event in October. Since her 2020 emergence, the vocalist has captivated audiences with her unique blend of Jazz-infused Amapiano, Soul, and powerful storytelling, cemented by her acclaimed EPs like ‘Bayeke’ and ‘Candour’.

The ‘Make Up Show’ features  an impressive array of supporting acts that are set to deliver a non-stop party atmosphere. The roster combines some of  DJs including  Mr Anderson, MBO, Obsession, Wicked, Crooks, Hapkoo, Yamkela, Acoustic Soul, Expo B, Bandora, Skeezy and many other DJs. This show serves as a dual celebration: A fulfilment of the star’s previous commitment and a spotlight on the depth of Eswatini’s own music culture. The blend of a powerful international act like Babalwa M with a robust local line-up is a testament to iF’s Lounge’s dedication to quality entertainment and community engagement.

This ‘Make Up Show’  follows the success of the third annual iF’s Lounge Spring Bash, which took place in October and featured top-tier acts like Daliwonga and local stars such as !Sooks. The Spring Bash’s overall success also showcased acts like Thebe and Young Zesh. Babalwa Mavuso known professionally as Babalwa M is an Amapiano singer-songwriter from Soweto who gained prominence in 2020 with her EP ‘Bayeke’ created in collaboration with producer Kelvin Momo. She is known as the ‘queen of private school Amapiano’ praised for her soulful vocals and storytelling abilities. Her career began in a church choir and she later pursued journalism before transitioning to music, releasing her debut album ‘Aluta Continua’ in 2021.
