MBABANE – South African Gospel powerhouse Dr Tumi delivered a masterclass in praise and worship at the Dr Tumi Live In Eswatini show on Sunday.

Fresh off the heels of ministering to the South African show at the FNB Stadium for 100 000 Hallelujahs, the renowned Gospel artist proved exactly why he remains a foundational pillar of African Gospel music, ushering the kingdom into a profound atmosphere of divine revival.

Organised by Kufeziwe Communications, the event drew hundreds of passionate worshippers and music enthusiasts from all corners of Eswatini. The Mbabane Alliance Church came alive from 5pm until the late hours of the night with only Gospel music experienced.

Speaking exclusively to this publication, local Gospel heavyweight and Kufeziwe Communications mastermind, Linda Dlamini, revealed that hosting Dr Tumi was a deliberate move aligned with their spiritual mandate for the year. The concert anchors the organisation’s 2026 vision themed ‘A Year of Revival.’

“He’s one Gospel minister who carries God’s anointing to bless emaSwati”, he said.

Born Tumisang Victor Makweya in Seshego, Limpopo, Dr Tumi has carved an indelible niche for himself across Southern Africa. As a qualified medical doctor, motivational speaker and multi-award-winning artist, his soul-stirring hits continue to dominate church playlists and personal devotionals alike.

For Dr Tumi, returning to the kingdom was more than just a tour stop; it was a divine appointment. Reflecting on his return after more than half a decade, the ‘No Other God’ hitmaker expressed immense joy at the reception from local fans.

“It’s been six years, but it feels like yesterday,” Dr Tumi shared backstage during an exclusive interview. “We are currently on a tour for revival, winning people to Christ. This event was exactly what it was supposed to be and it had the exact people who were supposed to be here.”

Looking ahead, the minister revealed that this is only the beginning of a much larger evangelical movement.
