Contractors sought for 2 dam construction projects

The Eswatini Water and Agricultural Development Enterprise (EWADE) has opened tenders for the construction of two earth dams in the country.
The projects, designated as EWADE/0741, are part of the government’s efforts to improve water security and agricultural output.
The first tender, Lot 1, is for the construction of the Sidvokodvo Earth Dam at Ekutsimleni Chiefdom, located under Mkhiweni Inkhundla.
The second, Lot 2, is for the Mangcongco Earth Dam at Emabhukwini Chiefdom, which falls under Mangcongco Inkhundla.
Funding
EWADE, a government-owned entity, has secured funding for the projects and is now inviting sealed tenders from eligible contractors. Only companies registered with the Construction Industry Council of Eswatini (CIC), under Category C3, will be considered.
Tender documents, prepared in English, can be obtained for a non-refundable fee of E350. The tender period closes on August 22, 2025 at 10:00, with a mandatory pre-tender meeting and site visit scheduled for August 8, 2025 at 10:00.
All bids must be accompanied by a tender security of E50 000, which must remain valid until December 22, 2025. Late submissions will be rejected. The tenders will be publicly opened at 10:15 on the closing date at the EWADE Lubovane Damsite Boardroom.
The procurement process will be conducted in accordance with the Public Procurement Act of 2011 and its 2020 regulations.
