Cake Baking Eswatini proudly announces the launch of the King’s Birthday Cake Challenge, inspired by the vision shared by His Majesty King Mswati III during the Speech from the Throne.
His Majesty emphasised the importance of empowering citizens, creating opportunities, and encouraging participation in the nation’s economic development.
This initiative will bring together talented bakers from across the Kingdom to celebrate creativity, entrepreneurship and the art of baking. Winners from the upcoming Bakers Awards scheduled for March 28, 2026, will be invited to participate in the challenge, providing a platform for both young and experienced bakers to showcase their skills, while honouring His Majesty’s birthday. The King’s Birthday Cake Challenge highlights how baking can contribute to skills development, job creation and entrepreneurship, while fostering unity and creativity within the baking community. It also serves as an opportunity to showcase the talent and innovation within Eswatini’s baking industry.
