The World Food Programme (WFP) in Eswatini has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) inviting local and regional service providers to be part of its updated vendor roster for the 2026–2028 cycle.
The call presents 42 business opportunities across a wide range of sectors, offering companies a chance to partner with one of the world’s leading humanitarian organisations.
According to the notice, the World Food Programme is seeking competent and experienced suppliers with a minimum of three years proven track record in their respective fields. The vendor roster will support the organisation’s operations in Eswatini, which are aimed at saving lives and improving livelihoods through food assistance and development programmes.
The EOI submission deadline is April 17, 2026, at 2pm, giving interested businesses a limited window to prepare and submit their documentation. Suppliers who meet the requirements will be shortlisted through a structured pre-qualification process, which combines pass/fail criteria with a scoring system.
Successful applicants may also undergo further evaluation, including interviews and inspections of their facilities.
WFP has clarified that all costs associated with preparing submissions will be borne by the applicants, and submissions must strictly follow the outlined requirements, including format and size specifications.
