MBABANE – Royal Leopard have unveiled their first-ever female PRO, Philile Dlamini, in a major leadership shake-up ahead of the new season.

Dlamini steps into the massive shoes of seasoned and award-winning spokesperson Frank Hurube, who has served as the undisputed voice and face of the club for over a decade.

Hurube moves up the administrative ladder after being elevated to the position of Club Chairman in the new operational structure announced by Club President and National Commissioner (NATCOM) of Police Vusi Manoma Masango.

The sweeping changes aimed at steering the blue and white outfit back to silverware dominance also see the formal confirmation of club legend Sifiso ‘Nuro’ Ntibane as the new Technical Director.

Ntibane, who recently served as Sihlangu Interim Coach, famously guided ‘Ingwe Mabalabala’ to three consecutive MTN Premier League titles between 2013/14 and 2015/16.

He will work hand-in-hand with Head Coach Edwin Matsebula to lead the club’s technical department.

However, in the bold restructuring exercise, there is notably no place for long-serving official Richard ‘Danka’ Fakudze, who has been left out of the executive hierarchy.

Unveiling the new setup, President Masango charged the revamped administration and technical bench to pursue ultimate glory in the upcoming campaign.

He instructed the team to stay focused, work with relentless determination and go all out in pursuit of trophies on all fronts.

“The president has emphasised the importance of hard work, discipline, commitment and unity as the club prepares for another competitive campaign,” reads part of the official statement released by the club.

The new-look management structure also sees Shadrack Simelane serving as Vice President, Mabamba Shiba as General Secretary and Muzi Phungwayo as General Manager.

Matsebula’s technical backroom staff will feature Mfanizile ‘Fash’ Dlamini as Assistant Coach, Dennis Fakudze as Fitness Coach and Mphikeleli Dlamini as Goalkeeper Coach. Mancoba Mtsetfwa and Sibusiso Fakudze take charge of the senior and junior development ranks, respectively.

With this strengthened framework, the former league champions have fired a clear warning shot to their rivals, signalling their clear ambition to challenge for top honours in the new campaign.

Meanwhile, Public Relations Officer (PRO) Dlamini, who was leading the women’s team, thanked the president for the recognition, acknowledging that it was not an easy task.
