Thirty years, countless young lives shaped and a legacy built on excellence; Sifundzani High School is celebrating three decades of breaking new ground.
The school marked its 30th anniversary in grand style alongside its annual speech and prize-giving ceremony, bringing together learners, teachers, alumni, school leadership and government officials to celebrate a journey that began in 1996.
Held under the theme ‘Breaking new ground’, the celebration was more than just a look back at the school’s history. It was a celebration of the people who have helped build its legacy and a reflection on the opportunities that lie ahead.
The occasion was graced by Prime Minister Russell Dlamini, who joined the Sifundzani community in celebrating the significant milestone.
The prime minister was warmly welcomed by Acting Minister for Education and Training, Honourable Bongani Nzima, members of the Sifundzani Schools Board and senior government officials.
The speech and prize-giving ceremony also provided an opportunity to celebrate learners who have excelled academically and in other areas of school life. Their achievements reflected the dedication of both learners and teachers in pursuing excellence.
Over the past three decades, Sifundzani has sought to nurture not only academic ability, but also talent, confidence, resilience and leadership among young people. As the school enters its next chapter, its 30th anniversary stands as a celebration of where it has come from, while looking ahead to an even bigger future of innovation, achievement and continued excellence.
