MBABANE – Rising artist Sarnilo added a special moment to her journey when she joined global music icon Wyclef Jean on stage during an exclusive jam session hosted by Kujenga at The Artistry in Johannesburg.

Wyclef Jean is a Grammy Award-winning artist, producer and composer with over two decades in the music industry. He is a Haitian rapper and singer. Born in Haiti, Jean emigrated to the United States as a child. He gained fame as a founding member of the Fugees, a New Jersey-based Hip Hop trio he formed in 1990 with Lauryn Hill and Pras Michel, serving as the group’s lead producer and guitarist.

The intimate performance followed Wyclef Jean’s celebrated set with Lauryn Hill at the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival.

Later that evening, Wyclef surprised the room with an impromptu guitar performance, where Sarnilo saw a moment to jam with the icon.

What followed was a 10-minute burst of soulful improvisation, blending her voice with his iconic sound and creating a memory that lit up the intimate gathering of artists, tastemakers and music lovers.
