MBABANE – Local Hip Hop artist As 4 JerryP has secured his second playlisting on Ligwalagwala FM with the debut of his latest single, ‘Inkhanyeti,’ featuring Lyrikal Busta.

The track was officially introduced to the airwaves on February 10 by Fortune Ntekati, the host of the Asambe Drive Show, during the 3pm slot.

Inkhanyeti’ follows the artist’s previous release, ‘Mlentengamunye,’ which served as his introductory single to his fans. This was the first of his songs to be played on the Mpumalanga-based radio station.

According to Sibusiso Simelane of Upscale Live, the record label representing As 4 JerryP, Ligwalagwala FM music compiler Siboniso Hadebe reached out via email. The request stated: ‘Sanibonani boNgwane sicela Inkhanyeti by As 4 JerryP’.“We immediately responded, forwarding the song,” Simelane said.

Expressing his excitement about the airplay on Ligwalagwala FM, As 4 JerryP mentioned that this is another proud moment for him. “I am very grateful for the opportunity of using my voice to represent my country, culture and language across borders, especially because ‘Inkhanyeti’ featuring Lyrikal Busta also speaks about the importance of preserving our culture and heritage as emaSwati. This serves as an inspiration for me to continue creating more music as this is our second single to be playlisted on Ligwagwala FM after ‘Mlentengamunye,” he said.
