3-INGREDIENT BANANA PANCAKES

 FROZEN BANANA POPS

Ingredients: 

• Bananas 

• Yoghurt or melted chocolate 

• Sprinkles, crushed nuts or cereal 

• Wooden skewers or sticks 

Method 

• Cut bananas in half and insert sticks. 

• Dip in yoghurt or melted chocolate. 

• Roll in sprinkles, nuts or crushed cereal. 

• Freeze for 1–2 hours until firm.

MINI ‘PIZZA’ BREAD ROUNDS

 Ingredients: 

• Bread slices or English muffins 

• Tomato sauce or chutney 

• Grated cheese 

• Toppings: ham, pineap¬ple, mushrooms, etc. 

Method 

• Cut bread into circles (use a cup or cookie cut¬ter). 

• Spread tomato sauce or chutney. 

• Add toppings and sprin¬kle with cheese. 

• Grill in oven or toaster oven for 5–7 minutes un¬til bubbly.

 

NO-BAKE CHOCOLATE CORNFLAKE CLUSTERS  

Ingredients 

• 2 cups cornflakes 

• 1 cup milk or dark choc¬olate (melted) 

• 1 tbsp peanut butter 

Method 

• Melt chocolate (and pea¬nut butter, if using) in the microwave or over a pot of boiling water. 

• Stir in cornflakes gently until fully coated. 

• Spoon onto a tray lined with baking paper. 

• Chill in the fridge for 30– 60 minutes until set.

3-INGREDIENT BANANA PANCAKES

Ingredients

• 1 ripe banana 

• 1 egg 

• w 2 tbsp flour 

Method 

• Mash banana, add egg and flour, mix well. 

• Cook small pancakes in a non-stick pan over medi¬um heat. Serve with honey, peanut butter or a sprinkle of cinnamon. 

BUILD-YOUR-OWN SANDWICH FACES

Ingredients

• Bread slices 

• Cheese slices 

• Boiled eggs, cucumber, tomato, car¬rots, etc 

• Margarine for spread¬ing 

Method 

• Let children spread mar¬garine on bread. 

• Use sliced veggies or eggs to make fun ‘faces’ — eyes, smiles, hair, etc.
