Learners from Extreme Sports Swimming Academy recently made waves at a regional swimming competition held at Curro School in Nelspruit. After just eight months of training, the young swimmers proudly represented the academy, show¬casing newfound skills, confidence and competitive spirit in their first major swimming contest.
T he competition , which brought together learners from various clubs and academies, was more than just a sporting event; it was a moment of achieve¬ment for these determined swimmers, many of whom had never set foot in a professional swimming arena before.

“We were very proud to see how well our swim¬mers performed after only eight months of training,” said a representative from Extreme Sports Swimming Academy. “What stood out most was their excitement, dedication and how much they’ve grown to love the sport.”

The academy, based at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre and known for its heat-ed pools and structured programmes, is fast becoming a hub for young, aspiring swimmers in Eswatini. The academy has made it part of its core mission to instil discipline, par¬ticularly when working with the girl child. The swimming sessions not only serve as a platform for learning life-sav¬ing skills, but also provide a pos¬itive and structured environment to keep young people engaged and focused.

MANAGEMENT
“Swimming is more than just a sport, it teaches time manage¬ment, perseverance and commit¬ment. We’ve seen how it keeps learners, especially girls, busy and off the streets during school holidays. It’s a powerful tool for personal development,” the acad¬emy added. The spirit of healthy competition is something the academy strongly believes in, as it encourages learners to push their limits and give their best in every session. During the school holidays, parents are encouraged to enrol their children at Extreme Sports Swimming Academy, where they can learn in a safe and sup¬portive environment while making the most of their time off school.
For just E950 per month for adults and E750 for children, par¬ticipants are guided by certified instructors in flexible sessions available during both weekdays and weekends. Whether you are a parent looking to equip your child with water safety skills, a teen seeking fitness and discipline or an adult finally ready to face the wa¬ter with confidence, these lessons cater to every level and every age. Sessions can accommodate busy schedules. To register or enquire further, contact 7877 0985 or follow Extreme Sports Academy on social media.
