Extraodinary results demand extraodinary commitment

Today I am not here to give you a powerful speech. I am here to challenge you, to push you and to make you question the limits you have set for yourself because the truth is success does not come to those who wait.

When it comes to those who act, who dare and who refuse to quit; you will never feel ready, and that is the first truth you need to accept.

The perfect moment you are waiting for, that day when your fears and your doubts disappear. You finally feel confident enough to act, but it will never come. Most people spend their lives waiting for that green light.

They wait for the right timing, the right conditions, the right circumstances and the right mood and while they wait, life just passes them by and opportunities disappear and when they finally look back, they see a long trail of things they could have done.

If you take nothing from what I say today, then take this; you must force yourself to act before you feel ready. You know when I stared my business coaching services, I did not have a perfect plan. I did not have an endless certainty. I had doubts and not small ones.

The kind of doubts that keep you up at nights. The kind of doubts that keep you make you question whether you are about to make the biggest mistake of your life. I had questions I could not yet answer. Problems I knew were coming but could not fully see and I had plenty of people experienced.

I respected people telling me it would not work explaining in detail. All the reason why this idea was destined to fail, but here is the truth; if I had waited until felt completely prepared, I would have been waited forever. The conditions for starting I never perfect and the people who wait for perfection are the ones still waiting years later. Most people do not fail because they make the wrong move.

They fail because they never move at all paralysed by the illusion that more time will bring certainty. This  is what I have learnt repeated action creates clarity. You do not think your way into success, you act your way into it. The fog only clears when you start walking through it.

You figure things out while moving forward, not by standing still and imagining every possible scenario. Extraordinary results demand extraordinary commitment. You cannot tiptoe your way into breakthroughs and you cannot have commit to building rockets and expect to touch orbit. You must leap, even if your knees are shaking. Even if landing looks uncertain. Even if you know that  the leap might test you harder than anything you have ever faced.

Think about this, every innovation that changed the world started as an idea in someone’s mind but ideas alone are worthless without execution. The iPhone became big because Steve Jobs did more than just think about it. It was a success because his team built it.

The electric car went revolutionary because it was imagined. It became revolutionary because people rolled up their sleeves and made it real. You can read books, watch videos, plan strategies and study your craft for years, but nothing replaces the moment you do the work. There is a trap many people fall into the trap of preparation without execution.

They call research, planning or getting ready, but in truth, is fear disguised s productivity. They convince themselves they are being careful and responsible but deep down they are avoiding the discomfort of action.
