MBABANE – The highly anticipated Sjava Ka Jama Live in Eswatini concert has beefed up its star power.

Local heavyweights Sancheziey and Stella Jacobs have officially been added to the roster for the show headlined by award-winning South African Afro-Soul maestro, Sjava. The question stands do you think Mdzimba View Shisanyama is the rightful space to host Sjava, looking at his shows in South Africa and filling up stages, also looking at the fact that this is a live event?

Scheduled for July 31, 2026 at the Mdzimba View Shisanyama, the new additions look to bring a distinct local flavour to an already stacked entertainment billing.

The duo joins a formidable contingent of local deck masters and performers tasked with setting the stage for the ‘uMama’ hitmaker. The existing line-up boasts some of Eswatini’s DJs, including Zulu D, Bandora, Sbu De Drum DJ, The Bishop, Lady Zee, Mixmash and Mdzimba View resident DJs. Fresh from his performance at the recent MoMo Xperience, Sancheziey expressed his excitement about sharing the stage with Sjava stating that: “Sjava’s moves inspires me in so many ways, when I saw the poster a month ago, I was like one of my dreams is about to become a reality. I actually approached Zulu D, I asked for a slot in the event and with one reason; I wish Sjava can see me perform, can actually taste this kind of Swati music, the rest I will leave it to God. With, of course, targeting to invade South African spaces, a collaboration with artists like Sjava is like a VIP ticket to South African music market, thus, finally being granted the stage is everything for me,” he said.

The event is designed as a full-scale cultural experience, scheduled to kick off at 4pm and run straight through the winter night until 3am. With buzz continuing to build across social media platforms, organisers have urged patrons to secure their spaces early via Moja Ticket platforms. The official dress code for the night is ‘Coats and Sneakers’.
