Established in 1996 in the heart of Big Bend, the college continues to bridge the critical skills gap by offering industry-relevant technical and vocational training.

A key assurance for prospective students and parents is the institution’s formal standing. U-Tech College is fully-registered and accredited by the Eswatini Higher Education Council (ESHEC), ensuring that its qualifications meet the national standards for quality and excellence.

Their mission is to provide quality technical training that develops students’ innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities. This commitment is reflected in their applied technical education approach, which equips students with practical skills that transition seamlessly from the classroom to the workplace.

Speaking during the event, Chairperson of Ubombo Schools Trust, Leonard Ndzimandze mentioned that at U-Tech College, they recognised the profound link between education and a thriving economy. “We are not just teaching students; we are preparing the workforce of tomorrow. By tailoring our Diplomas to address critical industry gaps, we ensure that our graduates are assets to the economy from day one.  “Our commitment to quality is reflected in our rigorous admission standards and our specialised Diploma programmes in Information Technology, Data Science and Electrical Engineering. We have meticulously prepared our systems to welcome a new cohort of students who are ready to challenge themselves.”

Echoing Ndzimandze’s words was Goodwill Nkabinde, the Registrar added: “Whether you are a recent school leaver or a professional looking to pivot through our Recognition of Prior Learning pathway, we have created a streamlined application process to help you secure your future.
