To advance modern agriculture in Eswatini, Sizavusi Investments has announced a new partnership with Rivulis, an Israeli-based company renowned for its cutting-edge drip irrigation technology. This partnership comes at a crucial time when the agricultural sector is striving to keep up with global trends that emphasise water efficiency, energy conservation and improved crop productivity.

Through this collaboration, Sizavusi introduces Rivulis’ high-quality drip irrigation systems designed to meet the diverse needs of farmers across the country, from smallholder farmers to large commercial estates. The Rivulis product line includes two innovative types of drip irrigation tapes:

D5000 Drip Line – a pressure-compensating system that ensures uniform water distribution across varying field topographies. This means that crops receive the same amount of water regardless of field slope or uneven terrain, leading to consistent growth and higher yields.

D2000 Drip Line – a non-pressure-compensating system that functions efficiently in well-designed fields, providing an affordable and reliable solution for controlled irrigation.

Both systems are engineered for surface and sub-surface applications, offering farmers flexibility to choose based on their crop type, soil conditions and operational preferences. With options for varying drip tape lengths and thicknesses, Rivulis caters to both short-term and long-term farming goals, making it suitable for subsistence and commercial operations alike.

Already, the product line has drawn substantial interest from the country’s agricultural estates and Sizavusi expects adoption to expand rapidly among smallholder farmers seeking efficient, low-cost irrigation solutions.

To ensure farmers receive technical support and after-sales service, Sizavusi has appointed two dedicated field officers: Mabandla Matsebula: 7688 0849 / 7988 0849 and Sibusiso Ndzimandze: 7615 2357 / 7915 2357.

This partnership not only brings world-class irrigation technology closer to emaSwati farmers, but also reinforces Sizavusi’s commitment to driving agricultural innovation and sustainability in the kingdom.

With the introduction of Rivulis drip systems, Sizavusi Investments continues to champion solutions that empower farmers to do more with less, less water, less energy and more productivity.
